01Origin
From inside one of the largest investment advisory firms in Brazil.
Over 5 years, the team built the operations and technology areas of an investment house, until it became a licensed securities brokerage — 700% growth in assets under custody and 400% growth in headcount. In 2021, the company was sold to one of Brazil’s largest financial groups, in a deal valued above R$1 billion. It was at that scale that the team faced the challenge of operating AI solutions in critical environments, with no margin for error. Entity Labs is born of that combination: operations lived from the inside and complex-systems engineering.

Modeling it right takes lived experience. Anyone who has been through client acquisition, compliance and portfolio management knows what each piece of data means: what is a rule, what is an exception, who decides what. That lived experience is what produces the right ontology, not a generic one.
Making it work takes engineering. Distributed systems, identity resolved across sources, provenance preserved, governed access. A thesis without engineering is a slide; engineering without a thesis is noise.
